lie和lay的區別和用法筆記

　　1.lay通常用作及物動詞，意為“擺、放、下蛋或產卵”等，過去式、過去分詞和現在分詞分別為laid,laid,laying。如：

　　①He laid the papers on the desk and then went out. 他把文件放在桌上，然后出去了。

　　②They were laying the foundation of the house. 他們在給房子打地基。

　　2.lie一般作不及物動詞用，作“躺；平放”解時，其過去式和過去分詞分別為lay,lain；作“撒謊”解時，其過去式和過去分詞均為lied，現在分詞均為lying。如：

　　①She lay on the beach all morning. 她整個上午都躺在沙灘上。

　　②How long has he lain there like that? 他像那樣躺在那兒有多久了？
