　　people和person的區別：

　　1.people表示“人”，是一個只表示復數意義的可數名詞(注意不用詞尾-s)，可以說some people(一些人)，many people(許多人)等，但不能說a people或one people。

　　2.person表示“人”，是可數名詞，可以說a person (1個人)或three persons(3個人)等。不過像 persons這樣的復數形式通常被認為是較文的正式說法，主要用于官方文件或通告等場合。

　　3.在通常情況下，person的復數一般都用people代之。如：

　　There was only one person there.那兒只有一個人。

　　There were many people there.那兒有許多人。

　　一般說來，除表示精確數目用persons外，要表示復數的人或大數目的人，通常都用people。
