一、時間控制
如果你事先分析了自我介紹的主要內(nèi)容，并分配了所需時間，抓住這兩三分鐘，你就能中肯、得體地表達出你自己;同時也要控制好時間，時間太短，無法給人比較全面和深刻的印象，時間太長又會顯得沒有重點，同樣沒辦法讓人印象深刻。
二、內(nèi)容要點
在準備自我介紹的過程中，很多考生會遇到這樣的狀況，一來覺得無話可說;二來覺得要說的太多，無從下手;三來覺得介紹的內(nèi)容和形式都千遍一律。而考官其實是要借此了解你的口頭表達能力以及你報名表之外的一些信息。如何在這短短的幾分鐘內(nèi)向主考官完美展示自我精神面貌和能力，關(guān)鍵就在于應(yīng)該介紹什么和怎么介紹。
1.開頭用一句話引入：Good morning/afternoon, dear professors/teachers, I feel so glad to be here for this interview./I am great honored to meet all of you here.
2.主體內(nèi)容：
�、傩彰�、年齡及家鄉(xiāng)。年齡及家鄉(xiāng)直接跟在姓名后帶過，如：My name is/I am***, 24 years old, and come from***province.
�、诋厴I(yè)院校及專業(yè)。簡要說明四年的大學(xué)生活帶給你的積極影響。務(wù)必確保自己原來院校及專業(yè)的英文名稱準確無誤(尤其是跨校、跨專業(yè)的學(xué)生)。
③性格優(yōu)勢及能力。著重強調(diào)自己的個性及能力對所報考專業(yè)的積極作用，如學(xué)術(shù)性專業(yè)，可用steady(踏實)、careful(細心認真)、active, aggressive(有進取心的)等。其他一些表性格能力的形容詞：logical(有條理的)、responsible(有責任心)、dependable(可靠的)、efficient(有效率的)、amicable(友善的)、analytical(善于分析的)、cooperative(合作的)、creative(有創(chuàng)造力的)、disciplined(有紀律的)、energetic(精力充沛的)、faithful(忠誠的), gentle(文雅的)、independent(有主見的)、innovative(創(chuàng)新的)、motivated(積極的)、modest(謙虛的)、punctual(守時的)、precise(一絲不茍的)等。
�、芘d趣愛好。介紹自己對學(xué)習(xí)重視的同時，也應(yīng)介紹一下自己的興趣愛好。需要注意的是：應(yīng)避免一些可能引起考官反感的興趣，如watching TV，playing computer games等。考生可以從旅游、音樂、體育等方面入手，并簡要說明這些愛好對你的積極影響(open my mind, relax myself, enhance physical quality)。
⑤對所報考院校及專業(yè)的興趣。首先同樣需要確保院校及專業(yè)的英文名稱的正確性;其次強調(diào)對報考專業(yè)感興趣，如平時通過相關(guān)書籍、期刊、新聞等途徑了解該專業(yè)領(lǐng)域的動態(tài)。
3.最后用一句話結(jié)束：Well, that’s all about me. Thanks for your attention.
